💨 Abstract

Four former executives of South Africa's Transnet, a state-owned transport company, were arrested and charged with corruption linked to the "state capture" scandal during Jacob Zuma's presidency. The accused—Brian Molefe, Siyabonga Gana, Anoj Singh, and Thamsanqa Jiyane—face 18 charges, including fraud and corruption related to tenders issued for rail infrastructure projects.
