💨 Abstract
Gauteng Health denied claims of a backlog at Helen Joseph Hospital due to a printer cartridge shortage. The Democratic Alliance (DA) alleged that corpses were left unprocessed for nearly two weeks due to printing delays. However, the department stated the hospital only has one body, which was processed promptly. They clarified that technical issues were resolved quickly and contingency plans were implemented, denying any mismanagement or negligence. All patients have been processed appropriately, the department said.
