💨 Abstract

The South African passport has risen five spots on the Henley Passport Index for 2025, ranking among the top 50 strongest passports in the world. South Africans can now travel visa-free to 106 destinations, the highest since 2014. The index, based on data from the International Air Transport Authority, ranks all passports worldwide by the number of visa-free destinations.
