💨 Abstract

Fuel prices in South Africa will rise from December 2, 2025, due to higher oil prices and a stable rand. Petrol will increase by 29 cents per litre, while diesel will rise by 65-82 cents per litre, impacting transport and agriculture. The rand remained around R17.30/$ despite global economic shifts. The hike follows stable oil prices averaging $63/barrel amid geopolitical tensions.
