💨 Abstract
Gudgu, a South African sugar-free drink brand, began in 2014 when Viljoen de Kock, after losing his job, experimented with homemade cordials. Partnering with Pieter du Plessis, they turned the idea into a business, initially selling at markets. Inspired by diabetic customers, they launched sugar-free options, now catering to keto and banting diets.
