South African citrus growers are launching a campaign to rebrand the grapefruit as a vibrant summer fruit in Europe, focusing on the Star Ruby variety under the brand "SummerStar Ruby Grapefruit." Led by the Citrus Growers’ Association (CGA), the initiative aims to reposition grapefruit from a winter Vitamin-C boost to a sweet, refreshing summer option.
