💨 Abstract
South Africans without digital television can apply for a free government-subsidized TV decoder before the new deadline of 31 March 2025. Homes that meet certain criteria, including having a working television, are eligible to receive one. As of now, over 400,000 applications have been registered, and the government aims to provide these set-top boxes and facilitate installations.
