đź’¨ Abstract
Hundreds of foreigners, mainly from Malawi and Mozambique, have fled their homes in South Africa due to anti-migrant mobs going door-to-door, demanding they leave. The violence erupted after weeks of protests, with shacks torched and at least five Mozambicans killed. Many foreigners have taken shelter in community halls, reporting harassment and violence. The South African government is assisting with documentation and voluntary repatriations.
