The University of Cape Town (UCT) is experiencing significant maintenance issues, with the campus in a state of neglect and deterioration, according to South African attorney and education expert Richard Wilkinson. He posted photos showing peeling paint, damaged ceilings, water issues, and areas affected by mould, among other problems. Additionally, broken tutorial boxes, damaged doors, and missing wall signs were seen.
