💨 Abstract

A lawyer, Monde Nzima, was fined R40,000 (or face 24 months in prison) for speeding at 222 km/h in a 120 km/h zone and evading police in KwaZulu-Natal. The court suspended half the sentence for five years. Transport MEC Siboniso Duma condemned the behavior, urging the Legal Practice Council to take disciplinary action.
