💨 Abstract
ANC deputy president Paul Mashatile faced a hostile reception in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, during door-to-door campaigning for the party's birthday celebrations. An enraged resident ordered Mashatile and his team to leave his home, alleging they had prevented him from entering his mother's house, leading to a minor scuffle. Mashatile is also South Africa's deputy president. The incident was captured on video.
