💨 Abstract
In KwaZulu-Natal, a joint operation by the Hawks and Durban Metro Police led to the discovery and seizure of cannabis plants and processed cannabis worth around R30 million. Six firearms and over 165 live rounds were also confiscated. A 56-year-old suspect was arrested and will face charges related to cultivation and dealing in cannabis, along with unlawful possession of firearms. The seized firearms will undergo ballistic testing.
