💨 Abstract
Police Minister Senzo Mchunu will testify before the Madlanga Commission on Tuesday regarding his role in disbanding the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT). Witnesses, including top police officials, allege he interfered in investigations and protected criminal networks. Mchunu denies wrongdoing, but the commission is probing claims of political manipulation in policing. The PKTT was disbanded in December 2024 after Mchunu ordered its closure.
