The City of Cape Town has completed two new MyCiTi bus depots in Khayelitsha and Mitchells Plain, costing R430 million. These depots will support the expansion of the MyCiTi service, connecting these areas to Claremont and Wynberg. The project, part of a R10 billion investment, aims to improve mobility and economic access for residents. Each depot can initially house 145 buses, with room to expand.
