đź’¨ Abstract
Three members of Operation Dudula were arrested and later released on warning after disrupting services at the Lilian Ngoyi Clinic in Soweto. They demanded patients show identity documents, disrupting services, especially in the maternity ward, which frightened staff and patients. The women were arrested following a lock-in incident in the labor ward. They face charges including contravention of the National Health Act and public violence. Operation Dudula aims to stop undocumented foreigners from accessing public healthcare in South Africa.
