💨 Abstract

After a house party in Gugulethu came under gunfire and seven men died, a 35-year-old suspect was apprehended, while another remains at large. Police swiftly identified the suspect, who faces charges, with witnesses noting three others escaped unscathed. Three additional murders in nearby Samora Machel in the Cape Flats followed. The official warned about the grave situation calling, "We have no choice but to eradicate the violent crimes."
