💨 Abstract

Gayton McKenzie's Patriotic Alliance (PA) made history by winning Ward 1 in Kou-Kamma, Eastern Cape, taking the seat from the African National Congress (ANC). McKenzie attributed the victory to perseverance and collaboration, claiming the PA has achieved what the Democratic Alliance (DA) couldn't. Despite the win, the ANC remains dominant in overall voter support, with the PA trailing behind the EFF.
