💨 Abstract

The MK Party has proposed a secret ballot for its motion of no confidence against President Cyril Ramaphosa. Parliamentary leader Dr. John Hlophe argues this will protect MPs from intimidation, align with parliamentary rules, and ensure a fair voting process. The motion, filed on July 22, is based on Ramaphosa's recent cabinet changes. Hlophe urged Speaker Thoko Didiza to make an urgent decision on the request.
