💨 Abstract

The 2025 register of financial interests and benefits of South African MPs has been released, detailing 13 categories of disclosure, including property, shares, and gifts. Deputy President Paul Mashatile's R28.9 million home in Constantia, Cape Town, which is registered under his son-in-law's company, has attracted public attention and is currently under investigation by the Hawks. The register, now available to the public, aims to enhance transparency and trust in parliamentary processes.
