💨 Abstract
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has extended the due date for the EMP201 tax return filing and payment for July 2025 to July 14, 2025. This extension comes after high volumes caused delays in the SARS systems, leading to submission issues for employers. SARS Commissioner Edward Kieswetter stated that no penalties or interest will be imposed on employers who were otherwise compliant.
