The City of Cape Town is halfway through the Sir Lowry’s Pass River upgrade, a multi-million-rand flood mitigation project in Gordon’s Bay and Strand. Expected to complete by March 2027, the project aims to reduce flooding, enhance land accessibility for housing, and improve infrastructure. Approximately R214 million has been invested.
