💨 Abstract

Five suspects will appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court for allegedly violating the Regulation of Foreign Military Assistance Act. They were arrested at OR Tambo International Airport while trying to fly to Russia via the UAE. The men were allegedly recruited to fight in the Russia-Ukraine conflict under false pretenses. A South African woman is suspected of facilitating this recruitment. These arrests follow allegations against Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, who resigned from Parliament amid similar accusations.
