Thailand has launched an e-visa system on January 1, 2025, for international applicants from nine African countries. These countries include Kenya, Sudan, and others, as approved by the Thai embassy. The system aims to enhance security and reduce administrative work, while attracting more tourists. Applicants must provide evidence of presence in the approved countries and all travel booking confirmations.
