💨 Abstract
A tragic accident off South Africa's West Coast has claimed the lives of three local fishermen after their vessel capsized near Shelly Point. The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) and various emergency services responded to the incident. The bodies of three adult males were recovered and handed over to authorities. The cause of the capsizing remains unclear, and an inquest has been opened. The NSRI and police praised eyewitnesses and a Good Samaritan for their assistance.
