💨 Abstract
On Monday, Gauteng residents experienced icy temperatures and partly cloudy skies. Temperatures in Johannesburg and Pretoria started at 6°C and struggled to rise above the upper teens. The weather remains dry with no immediate rain threat. Meanwhile, the Northern Cape faces a high fire danger warning. Conditions are expected to remain chilly throughout the day, with brief moments of sun offering minimal relief. Similar cold trends were observed in nearby areas like Polokwane.
