Zimbabwean domestic workers in South Africa earn an average of R33.35 per hour, slightly below South African workers' R36.64. Despite national minimum wage (R28.79/hour), 46% earn less. Most workers (59%) are Zimbabwean, with monthly earnings ranging between R3,105 and R5,242. The sector is largely informal, dominated by women, and accounts for 6.
