💨 Abstract
South Africa’s Higher Education Minister, Buti Manamela, warns that over 100,000 matriculants with bachelor passes may miss university entry due to limited spaces. Despite an 87.3% matric pass rate, universities can only accommodate half of the 337,000 eligible students, leaving 100,000 without placement.
