Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth has been banned for 12 weeks after being found guilty of eye-gouging Wales player Alex Mann. The incident occurred during the final minutes of South Africa's 73-0 win in Cardiff. The ban, reduced from an initial 18 weeks due to Etzebeth's clean record and other mitigating factors, will impact his club, the Sharks, in the URC and Champions Cup campaigns.
