💨 Abstract

Former Bafana Bafana defender Matthew Booth praised Hugo Broos for qualifying South Africa for the World Cup and achieving third place at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. However, Booth criticized Broos for not sufficiently scouting overseas-based South African players. He suggested that Broos should travel abroad to monitor and engage with these players to ensure they feel valued and considered for the national team.
