💨 Abstract
David Beckham, the former England football captain, is set to receive a knighthood in King Charles' Birthday Honours. The 50-year-old, already an OBE, is recognized for his football career and contributions to British society. Beckham played for England and several top clubs, retiring in 2013. He was instrumental in securing the 2012 London Olympics and has been a Unicef ambassador since 2005.
