On July 26, 2024, Kaizer Chiefs will compete against Ghana's Asante Kotoko at Moses Mabhida Stadium in the Toyota Cup, following their tour in the Netherlands. The event is part of an initiative with Toyota to play top African teams. Chiefs previously faced Yanga SC, losing 4-1.
