Kaizer Chiefs have extended their transfer budget significantly following the departure of captain Yusuf Maart to SV Ried in Austria, earning a reported R20 million (~€1 million). Additionally, Chiefs have bolstered their attacking options by signing Flavio Silva, a striker from Guinea-Bissau, who has previously played for Persebaya Surabaya in Indonesia.
