💨 Abstract

Following Orlando Pirates' star center-back Thabiso Sesane's February injury, it was an enormous blow to their soccer season. Although they had backup defenders like Tapelo Xoki, Olisa Ndah, and others, none of the players matched Sesane's unique competencies. This resulted in a decline in defensive performance– 20 goals conceded in 28 league matches, compared to 18 in 30 games last year.
