💨 Abstract
Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena described his departure from Orlando Pirates in 2019 as the most painful moment of his career. After coaching Pirates for 13 games, he was demoted to assistant coach, a decision that deeply hurt him despite the chairman's insistence for him to stay. Mokwena briefly coached Chippa United before returning to Sundowns. He admitted that the experience still affects him, and he rarely discusses it.
