💨 Abstract

A SuperSport TV crew of seven was kidnapped and one crew member was tragically killed while traveling to cover an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between Nigeria and Libya. The incident occurred on Wednesday while the crew was traveling from Lagos en route to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Six crew members have since been rescued, while efforts continue to find the last journalist and apprehend the perpetrators.
