Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has named an experienced squad, featuring 13 players from their Barbarians match, for the opening Test of the Italy series. Vincent Tshituka will make his Test debut, with Jesse Kriel captaining the team in place of the injured Siya Kolisi. Notable returns include Damian Willemse, Faf de Klerk, and Jasper Wiese. The squad features three personnel changes in the forward pack.
