💨 Abstract
To fully experience Addo Elephant National Park on a self-drive safari, allocate more than a couple of hours. The main route from Addo Main Camp to Matyholweni Gate is about 39km and can take around two hours, but this includes frequent stops for wildlife viewing. For a more immersive experience, plan for a half-day or full day, allowing time to explore loops, viewpoints, and waterholes.
