A sailing yacht ran aground at Clifton 4th Beach, Cape Town, on Wednesday morning. The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) was alerted and launched rescue vessels. Two sailing yachts were involved, with three and five crew members respectively. One yacht listed in shallow water and passengers were transferred to the second yacht. The NSRI established a towline and safely recovered the grounded yacht.
