The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town has commenced a R20 billion expansion project in Granger Bay, aiming to transform the coastline and boost tourism. "Phase Zero" kicks off with R189.5 million in marine construction and infrastructure upgrades, including a 540-meter seawall and two breakwaters. Future phases will relocate the Oranjezicht Market and redevelop The Lookout events venue.
