💨 Abstract
A fatal shark attack occurred at a remote beach in New South Wales, Australia, killing one person and seriously injuring another. The incident happened early Thursday morning in Crowdy Bay, about 250km north of Sydney. A woman died at the scene, while a man suffered severe leg injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. Bystanders played a crucial role in stabilizing the injured man. The beach remains closed as authorities investigate the species of shark involved.
