💨 Abstract
The paddle plant, scientifically known as kalanchoe thyrsiflora, is a low-maintenance houseplant perfect for beginners or those prone to killing houseplants. Native to Southern Africa, it has thick, fleshy paddle-shaped leaves that can survive weeks without water and act as a natural barrier against pests. Its slow-growing nature means it requires little repotting and is not particular about soil types.
