💨 Abstract
A study found that stuffed animals, particularly teddy bears, can harbor significant amounts of bacteria, sometimes even dirtier than toilet seats or bins. Researchers used ATP bioluminescence tests to measure cleanliness, finding that 29% of teddies had very high bacteria levels. Blankets also showed similar issues, with 43% having high bacteria readings.
