💨 Abstract
A recent poll revealed that one in three British adults use comical nicknames for body parts, with genitals being the most commonly named. The study found regional differences in these nicknames, such as "crown jewels" in the North and "meat and two veg" in the East of England. Nicknames are used to feel more comfortable with one's body and to make conversations less awkward. Additionally, the research highlighted fears about body odour in areas beyond underarms.
