💨 Abstract
A pensioner named Les Whitaker, 75, returned from a holiday in India to find a large two-storey extension built next to his property in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The structure, approved by Shropshire Council, blocks light from his garden and bungalow. Les claims he was unaware of the plans, as the council changed its policy around COVID-19 to not notify neighbors about such applications.
