💨 Abstract
A £4million upgrade to Plymouth's Central Park has turned into a chaotic mess. Residents are outraged as the park is fenced off and filled with dirt, debris, and broken fencing. The planned transformation into a wildlife haven with ponds and drainage features has suffered delays, budget increases, and poor weather since late 2022. The city council fired the original contractor, and legal discussions are underway for a new contractor starting in June.
