British Gas is offering two days of half-price electricity this weekend as part of its PeakSave scheme. Customers with smart meters can save on energy costs by shifting usage to less busy times. This bank holiday, the scheme runs on both Sunday and Monday. Other suppliers like EDF, ScottishPower, and Octopus Energy also have similar schemes to help customers save on energy bills. Additionally, tips are provided for reducing energy usage, such as lowering thermostats and using smart meters.
