💨 Abstract
Holidaymakers with pre-existing medical conditions may face significantly higher travel insurance premiums. A study by Which? found that declaring a medical condition can increase premiums by hundreds or even thousands of pounds. Nearly three-quarters of respondents declared a condition, with 82% seeing a price increase and a quarter finding it substantial. Comparison sites show single-trip policies cost twice as much for those with conditions.
