💨 Abstract
Freddos multipacks have been reduced from five to four bars, with the price remaining at £1.40, making each bar 35p instead of 28p. This move, due to increased cocoa costs, has led to customer complaints of shrinkflation. Tesco and Waitrose are the first to stock these smaller packs. Mondelez International, Cadbury's owner, cited higher costs for ingredients, energy, and transport.
