💨 Abstract
A Marks & Spencer café in Douglas, Isle of Man, is set to close permanently as part of a store transformation project. The café, favored by locals, will be replaced by a larger bakery, additional coffee machines, and a hot chicken counter. The revamp, starting in late July, will also expand the food hall and clothing/home departments. Staff will be transferred to other departments, with no job losses expected. The work is set to be completed by spring 2026.
