💨 Abstract
The M20 motorway in Kent has implemented Operation Brock for the half-term break, causing significant traffic disruptions. The initiative forces lorries headed to Dover to queue on one side, while the opposite carriageway handles two-way traffic. The program, reintroduced for the second time in 2025, has faced criticism due to the inconvenience it causes to residents. The measure was imposed by Kent and Medway Resilience Forum to manage congestion around the Port of Dover.
